NEW DELHI: The Indian cricket board (BCCI) on Thursday has appointed former India pacers Chetan Sharma, Abey Kuruvilla and Debashis Mohanty as nationwide selectors. Chetan will swap Sunil Joshi as the chairman of the senior national variety committee. Joshi and Harvinder Singh, who have been appointed as selectors in February this yr, will go on in their roles.
Chetan, Kuruvilla and Mohanty will depict north, west and east zones. TOI understands the cricket advisory committee (CAC), comprising Madan Lal, RP Singh and had a hard time deciding upon concerning previous India pacer Ajit Agarkar and Chetan as the chief selector. Mohanty has been promoted to the senior committee from becoming the chief selector of the junior committee.
