6.2-magnitude earthquake rocks Philippines: USGS


MANILA: A 6.2-magnitude earthquake rocked the Philippines Friday, the US Geological Survey explained, with inhabitants in the cash Manila reporting properties shaking but there had been no immediate experiences of destruction.
The quake struck in Batangas province on the most important island of Luzon at a depth of 108 kilometres (67 miles) at 7:43 am nearby time (2343 GMT), in accordance to USGS.
