Pope claims faces of kids in Syria, Iraq and Yemen need to contact all consciences

VATICAN Metropolis: Pope Francis on Friday highlighted the plight of young children caught up in war, singling out victims in Syria, Yemen and Iraq in his Xmas concept.
“On this day, when the word of God became a baby, permit us change our gaze to the many, all far too many, small children around the globe, in particular in Syria, Iraq and Yemen, who continue to spend the higher cost of war,” he explained.
“Might their faces contact the consciences of all gentlemen and women of all ages of very good will, so that the triggers of conflicts can be addressed and brave endeavours can be created to build a future of peace,” he reported.
