MOSCOW: A Moscow court on Friday sentenced Roman Shirokov, the former captain of the Russian men’s national soccer group, to 100 hours of community company about an assault on a referee, the Interfax news company described.
The 39-12 months-outdated, who was using component in an amateur match in August, was offended when referee Nikita Danchenko refused to award him a penalty after he was challenged in the area, footage from the incident showed.
