MUMBAI: With the Covid-19 menace however lurking around, the BCCI is not ready to take a likelihood. On Wednesday, the Board despatched an exhaustive 30-page extended listing of Covid protocol, like the Standard Working Methods (TOI has a copy) to all the groups for the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy, which will kick off the severely curtailed 2020-21 domestic season from January 10.
“While Covid-19 has transformed the way the BCCI’s domestic cricket matches will be conducted, the BCCI is implementing steps and devices across vacation, accommodation, coaching and matches to guarantee that cricket is played in a Covid-19-safe and sound atmosphere,” the Board has pointed out in a doc titled as ‘Health and safety protocols for BCCI domestic cricket time.’
Contrary to the IPL, the groups have been requested to steer clear of handshakes or any contacts following the match.
“On-subject media is not permitted to interview players put up the match. Movie conferencing must be regarded as for push conferences,” say the SOPs.
The pointers propose that “electronic workforce sheets be regarded,” as an alternative of paper sheets. They also suggest that, “since no community will be authorized in the stadium, there will be far more vacant locations and for this reason the dugouts might be expanded and do not have to keep on being inside of the traditional region.”
