Pelosi Says Spoke with Army Chief on Preventing ‘Unstable’ Trump from Launching Nuclear Strike

US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stated Friday she spoke with the nation’s top rated military services leader about ensuring that “unstable” President Donald Trump does not start a nuclear attack in his final times in office environment.

The top Democrat in Congress stated she talked with Joint Chiefs Chairman Mark Milley “to examine offered safeguards for stopping an unstable president from initiating army hostilities or accessing the start codes and buying a nuclear strike.”

In her letter to Democratic colleagues, Pelosi also stated she is prepared to start impeachment proceedings against Trump if he does not voluntarily resign or if Vice President Mike Pence does not begin a procedure that will allow him and the cabinet to take out the president.

“If the president does not leave office imminently and willingly, the Congress will progress with our action,” she stated.
