NEW DELHI: After just about a year-extended suspension owing to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will resume e-catering expert services at 62 stations from Monday.
“IRCTC is heading to resume e-catering expert services at 62 stations in the to start with phase from February 1, the next period of resumption will acquire location most probably immediately after 3 weeks,” an IRCTC official advised ANI.
New Delhi, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Howrah, Surat, Vijayawada, Patna, Ujjain, Panvel are among significant stations the place e-catering solutions will be resumed in the initial leg.
Railways experienced suspended the company owing to the Covid-19 pandemic, and consequent unprecedented lockdown, on March 22, 2020.
Railways had before stated IRCTC is ensuring that all its e-catering companions ensure correct health and fitness and cleanliness protocols whilst serving the meals to the passengers.
