Deep sea mining to aid make electric motor vehicles


As the planet begins to shift away from petrol and diesel-electrical power vehicles, there are inquiries above how the metals essential for batteries in electrical cars will be sourced.

A single chance is to mine the deep ocean flooring. A variety of firms are lining up to exploit the minerals observed there, but campaigners warn it could have a disastrous affect on the maritime ecosystem.
