Atlantic row ‘the toughest issue I’ve ever done’

Atlantic row ‘the toughest issue I’ve ever done’

Johnny Ward is portion of a 4-man rowing workforce that has crossed the Atlantic Ocean in a one boat.

The vacation blogger is initially from Kilkeel in County Down and took on the challenge to elevate consciousness about psychological health and fitness.

The journey – dubbed The Atlantic Dash – was a 3,200 mile journey from the Canary Islands to Antigua.

Johnny’s crewmates have been Billy Taylor, Martin Heseltine and BBC Television set chef Filthy Vegan Matt Pritchard.

They initially established off from Lanzarote on 6 March, but the journey had to restart from Fuerteventura a 7 days later on simply because of seat challenges.

They crossed the complete line on Sunday 2 May perhaps.

The 4 adult males could undertake the voyage as Covid principles permit charity events.

They had been raising revenue for the Dean Farm Trust and men’s mental health and fitness charity Humen.
