Wrestler’s death: Police conducting raids to trace Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar, other people | Off the field News

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police on Thursday said it is conducting raids in lookup of two-time Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar and other individuals in link with a brawl that led to the death of a wrestler inside of the Chhatrasal Stadium complicated in north Delhi.
A senior police officer said Kumar, the only Indian to earn two unique Olympic medals, is however to be part of the investigation.
Groups have been fashioned and raids are getting done in Delhi and the neighbouring states, the law enforcement reported.
A 23-12 months-aged wrestler died and two of his close friends received injured after they were being allegedly brutally assaulted by other wrestlers inside the Chhatrasal Stadium.
The incident transpired in the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday above a dispute similar to a home located in the Design City place.
Prince Dalal (24), a resident of Haryana’s Jhajjar, has been apprehended in link with the scenario and a double-barrel gun has been seized from his possession.
The law enforcement explained they have seized two double-barrel guns, seven stay cartridges, two wooden sticks and five automobiles in relationship with the situation.
